We are here to teach you every step of the way and ensure that you’re comfortable roasting on your own in no time! No experience required to roast at KWCC.

The average is about 3 batches per hour. Each batch is 6kg (13.2lbs) so 4 hours you can average about 160lbs green (after roasted is about 136lbs).

You can roast a maximum batch size of 9kg (19.8lbs).

Posted prices do not include tax unless stated. Taxes will be applied.

$15 - $30 per pallet per month. Each rack can hold one skid of coffee, which is about 6-8 bags of green coffee (depending on size of bag). Price will depend on how many bags you store at KWCC

We’re flexible! Let us know what time works best for you and we can work something out.

Packaging supplies (bags, labels, bins, boxes). We have a selection of bags that are available for purchase. You are required to bring your own printed labels.

A notepad or notebook. We provide every member with a roasting logbook.

If you are roasting your own supply of green coffee that is not stored here, bring the required amount needed to roast (6kg-9kg per batch)

(Optional) Bring a friend to help you pack up your coffee :)

We provide a list of contacts for green coffee importers that we have vetted over the years to all of our members.

Depends on the quality, from where and from whom you’re purchasing from, etc. Typically it can range from $4.00-$6.00 (USD) per pound for a clean good quality specialty coffee. Higher end coffees can go for $7.00+ per pound. We will have a couple coffees available to purchase through us. These range around $5.00 per pound.

No, green coffee is not taxed.

Coffee (unroasted & roasted) are not taxable items.
